Open Call for Research Groups 2028-2029

Call Details
The Israel Institute for Advanced Studies (IIAS) invites scholars from Israel and abroad to submit proposals for Research Groups.

Proposals may address any research topic across all disciplines, including interdisciplinary research, and should be innovative with the potential to make a significant contribution to their field. Proposals are submitted by the organizer(s) of the Research Group.

Research Groups bring together scholars around research questions of common interest and are designed to foster sustained dialogue, integrative thinking and collaborative research. Groups are typically composed of 5–8 core fellows and may include a postdoctoral fellow. Residencies are available for five or ten months, with shorter periods possible in some cases.
