Iakovos Androulidakis

In his research, Iakovos Androulidakis focuses on noncommutative differential geometry, particularly on the treatment of singularities. As a senior fellow at the Collegium, he explored the relation of noncommutative geometry with a mathematical unification of classical and quantum mechanics (“deformation quantisation”). With the methods he has developed to understand singularities, Iakovos hopes to contribute towards making the mathematical framework usable in physics.
