Massimo Bucciantini

As part of his research, Massimo Bucciantini collaborates with the Galileo Museum in Florence, for which he edits the magazine Galileana. As a senior fellow at the Collegium, he held a lecture titled Mito e Scienza in Galileo (Myth and Science in Galileo’s Work) at the Collegium. In it, he discussed the literary and political impact and influence of Galileo Galilei’s writings in modern Europe and how it has shaped cultural and political life in Europe and beyond.

Concurrently with his senior fellowship at the Collegium, Massimo was also the Cattedra De Sanctis Visiting Professor for Italian Literature and Culture at ETH Zurich.
