Netias Debates series
The Netias debates bring together fellows from the European network on a joint topic. Two or three Institutes team up to coordinate each thematized series of debates.
The events can be attended both onsite and online.
Launched in 2021, the Netias debates bring together fellows from the network of European Institutes for advanced study and from different cultural and disciplinary backgrounds around a joint theme. Each series of debates is organized over a few months by one or two institutes from the network, where the debates take place. Most of the debates can be attended online as well.
Amongst the themes addressed over the past years:
- Academic freedom
- Borders
- Knowledge in the Digital Age
- Im/mobilities, Citizenship and Necropolitics at Europe’s Borderlands
- Health: Interdisciplinary, ethical and alternative approaches
- Decolonial thinking
- Artificial Intelligence models and their implications for social and political science
- What do we mean by Artistic Research?
